Macedonian Church in Sobotsko, Voden region

Father Nikodim Tsarknias, a Macedonian Orthodox priest, is fighting to reintroduce the centuries old tradition of Macedonian religious services to members of Greece's oppressed Macedonian minority. He is building a new Macedonian church, Sveta Zlata Meglenska, in the village of Sobotsko.
